Door Glass,Quarter Glass and Vent Glass.
When you have a side window broken on your vehicle, whether due to an accident or vandalism, your vehicle is now exposed to the elements. This exposure could cause weather damage to your interior and possibly ruin electronic accessories in the vehicle from rain, snow, etc. Additionally, your vehicle could be an easier target for thieves. This type of damage should be fixed as soon as possible. Here at Wunderbar, we understand the urgency to get these jobs done ASAP and get you back out on the road.
Which Window is Which?
If you need a side window replaced, first, you must know which side window it is. There are 4 main side windows. (Door glass - Front door and Rear door), Vent glass, located on the door right next to the door window that rolls up and down, and Quarter glass located furthest to rear of the vehicle. Also, which side of the vehicle is which is important. I know this sounds kind of silly, but it gets mixed up probably more than you'd think. You determine right from left when you're sitting in the vehicle, not when you're standing outside looking at the vehicle.(Left is driver side - right is passenger side) Knowing the type of window you need fixed will be important when scheduling an appointment. That way, we can quote you the correct price and show up with the right part the first time.
